Admittedly, the Space Explorer gun is sort of plain. Sure, the cool lightning bolts and the shooting star on the barrel are nice details, but all in all, it's not the most out-there space gun ever made.
However, when combined with it's extremely rare packaging and explosive dart ("Safe and Harmless" my ass), it becomes a wonderful addition to any space gun collection.
The gun is two-toned, with one half being white and the other black. It's also available in various shades of grey, blue, red, and green. It's not too hard to find one, though Doc's only seen two examples of the packaging and dart—searching for them has driven many a collector mad. Doc's lucky—he was already nuttier than peanut brittle. Space peanut brittle.
