Water Pistol

Sure, it's a water pistol. But with its fins and lightning bolts and streamlined design, it's a flashy water pistol. And that's darn cool.

It's worth noting that many water pistols of this era featured a small brass tip, instead of the plastic ones found in the Hong Kong manufactured toys from the Sixties and later. Older water pistols also run their tubes up along the spine of the gun, keeping the transluscent body and barrel relatively clear of mechanical clutter. Smart design that translates into beautiful toys.
