The Liquid Helium gun is a standout in any collection, with great retro-modern details and a classic, decco-inspired design. Clearly, this gun was ripped right from the funny pages to provide hours of fun to young Buck Rogers fans.
It's amazing that any of these guns survived at all. That's because it fires water, and everyone knows that water and metal don't do well together. However, thanks to a leather bladder to hold the H2O, many of these pressed steel toys survived the years. However, it's still a tough find, and the XZ44 commands strong prices from ray gun, Buck Rogers, water pistol, and metal gun collectors.
The Liquid Helium was also available in a much rarer copper plated version.
